Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and keyboardist Mary Hocks releases her first CD, Spinning the Sky, at this talent filled show. Mary's music is folk pop infused with blues, rock, Indian, middle eastern, and traditional jazz flavors.

As a songwriter, Mary's lyrics tumble forth with poetic grace, revealing insights that invite the listener to read along as she sings. The show will feature Mary accompanied by the singing and eclectic contributions of some of the best players from the Carolinas: Free Planet Radio, Danielle Howle, and Elaine Townsend.

Spinning the Sky has a seamless, soulful groove that I find very intoxicating.
