Welcome!![]() Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Columbia Church Office Hours Our ServicesPlease join us on Sunday mornings for services at 11:00 a.m. A typical service at the UUFC would include hymns, readings, choir, children's story, sharing joys and concerns, and a sermon. Adults interested in discussing current issues are invited to the Forum at 9:30 a.m. in the library. Children start in the service and leave together for their Religious Education classes. Occasionally children stay when we have an intergenerational service. Child care is available for nursery and preschoolers. Our full time minister is Neal Jones. Neal preaches and lives a practical, humanistic spirituality that seeks personal wholeness, relational respect, social justice, and ecological responsibility. We occasionally have guest speakers when our minister is away. We sometimes have live music. We encourage you to attend several services to see all that we have to offer. We offer a visitor orientation after the service on the fourth Sunday of almost every month. More information is available in the order of service and the Unigram newsletter. Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of ColumbiaUnitarian and Universalist congregations have been around for over a hundred years. Thomas Jefferson was a Unitarian. The UUFC is in the Thomas Jefferson District. The UUFC was established in Columbia by a few people in the 1950's. We are now in our third home and still growing. We have been in the former Tree of Life Synagogue in Shandon since 1987. |
