We express our concern and support for...

Former member and Administrator, Isabel Oake, whose mother Carolyn Ivey died on May 4.

Joyce Rodgers, who sustained injuries when struck by a vehicle. Joyce, a former active and beloved member, now lives in Wichita Falls, Texas.

We extend our appreciation to…

Don and Pat Mohr, who traveled to Batesburg to pick up a 50-piece service set for our Fellowship. The set was donated by Francis Woodman after she saw the article in The State covering our bike-in on Earth Day and discussing our desire to discontinue using disposable plates and utensils.

We extend our congratulations to…

David Crockett, who has been promoted to Associate Professor of Marketing with tenure at USC.

Our Board of Trustees President Peter Kandis, who was elected to the Thomas Jefferson District Board of Trustees at the annual district meeting in Asheville on April 26.

Don Dodson, who has pledged $250,000 for an endowed scholarship and fellowship to the Marco Institute for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Don received his PhD from UT in 1974.
