Volunteer Opportunities

We need lots of volunteers to help with the RE program. The Religious Education Committee determines the curriculum for the year and provides materials for a lesson plan for each class. New volunteers are assisted by an experienced member of the RE program. To volunteer, contact Didi Doggert, Director of Religious Education.

Teachers and assistants for RE classes
We try to have at least three teachers assigned to each age group so that responsibilities can be rotated while still keeping two adults with each class.

Guest teachers in RE classes
If you have special talents or interests, such as gardening or music, we can almost always make use of your talents.

Organizers for special events
Each year we have several special events.

Organizers and assistants for intergenerational services
We have services for all ages several times a year. Usually a fund-raising potluck follows each intergenerational service. Volunteers to help with the services and the potlucks are needed.

Playground supervisors
We need help with playground supervision before and after services.

All volunteers must be willing to undergo background checks.

Our Religious Education Committee

We are an all-inclusive co-operative program. We invite you and your family to join us!
